I am currently the Project Coordinator and In-House Technician at BYDS (Bankstown Youth Development Service). Recently, I was the Marketing/Administration Assistant for The HERO Project run by Powerhouse Youth Theatre and later on became their Assistant Stage Manager during the show season. This year, I began my Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science degree at the University of Sydney, with a goal to major in Performance Studies.
I was a member of a team of five from 2005 to 2009. We were in charge of organising events around the local Bankstown area in conjunction with BYDS. These local band nights were called "Gravitate" and showcased upcoming young talent.
In between each Gravitate, I volunteered as a stage hand and event coordinator at a number of events and functions such as album and magazine launches at Bankstown Town Hall, other local band nights as a part of Youth Week and I've freelanced for BYDS and Blacktown City Council as their technician for an array of functions and events since the beginning of 2009.
In 2010, I graduated from North Sydney TAFE with a Diploma of Music Industry (Technical Production) and began working more frequently in the technical operations field.. Since then, I have lived in the USA on a working holiday for six months where I worked as a Senior Recruiter in a call centre where I interviewed candidates over the phone for various positions with US Airways.
I am a resident of the Liverpool local government area and have been since 1997. Most of my arts-based work has taken place in the Inner West and Western Sydney, including Bankstown, Fairfield, Parramatta, Blacktown, Petersham and Newtown.
